Is reading the Bible the fastest way to lose your faith?
For centuries, the Bible was called “the Good Book,” a moral and religious text that guides us into a relationship with God shows us the right way to live. Today, however, some people argue the Bible is outdated and harmful, with many Christians unaware of some of the odd and disturbing things the Bible says.
Whether you are a Christian, a doubter, or someone exploring the Bible for the first time, bestselling author Dan Kimball guides you step-by-step in how to make sense of these difficult and disturbing Bible passages. Filled with stories, visual illustrations, and memes reflecting popular cultural objections, How (Not) to Read the Bible is a lifeline for individuals who are confused or discouraged with questions about the Bible.
Coming soon, we will be offering a book study on this resource. If you are interested, even if you don't know if you're available, please take 60 seconds to give us your information by clicking the link below.

Sam & Becky Barber, a missionary family we support, is in desperate need of a new van. Living in the city, they drive to the majority of their ministry locations, and with the condition of their van, they've resorted to riding their bikes as much as possible. In Belize City, this can be very dangerous! Unfortunately, one of their bikes was even stolen. Please donate now to help them reach their goal! The money conversion rate is 2:1, meaning every U.S. dollar = 2 BZ dollars, so every bit helps!
The Hill family, Rose Valley residents, has lost their home in a tragic fire, resulting the loss of all their possessions, including their beloved pets. The family of 6 made it out alive with minor injuries, but with nothing but the clothes on their backs. You can help them get back on their feet by giving to their Go Fund Me above. Thanks to community donations, they have all the clothes they need. Thank you! Now what they need is gift cards for groceries. You can drop off gift card donations to the church office or the Child Care (open 6am to 6pm weekdays; entrance in the back).
