our mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Heaven & Earth

Teacher: Nathaniel Vanderploeg

Open to anyone 13+ (or high school freshman) and up.

Imagine heaven.

See clouds? A pearly gate? Golden walls? For most of us, the word “heaven” conjures up a cartoonish image of a city floating on cotton, even if that’s not really what we believe God’s dwelling place is like.

Time to forget all that.

In this study from The Bible Project, we want you to begin to think about heaven the way the Bible thinks about heaven.  We will explore the biblical theme of Heaven and Earth, moving through the biblical narrative chronologically, from the Garden of Eden to the construction of Solomon’s temple to John’s visions about the realization of a new creation.  We'll see how in the beginning Heaven and Earth were united, then driven apart by human sin, and God's plan for reuniting them again.  After all, the union of Heaven and Earth is what the story of the Bible is all about.
